Wisconsin Pheasant Hunting Preserve at Coyland Creek

With 610 acres of prime upland bird hunting land for pheasants and chuckers and a cozy Northwoods lodge for our guests to stay the night, Coyland Creek is the perfect spot for pheasant hunting in Wisconsin’s northwestern region. Whether you’re an avid pheasant hunter looking for a challenge or new to pheasant hunting, we will provide you with an unforgettable experience.

Birds at our pheasant hunting preserve in northwestern Wisconsin are not released until hunters arrive at Coyland creek.

Bird hobblers and flagging are available upon request for training at an additional charge.

Field cover at our bird hunting preserve in Wisconsin is a mix of prairie grasses, sorghum, and millet. Depth of field cover varies between fields.

You can purchase these items at Shotgun Willy’s.

• Waterproof hunting clothing
  (jacket, pants, boots, gloves, poncho, etc.)
• Clothing that can be easily layered.
  Fall temperatures can range from 30-85 degrees.
• Bring a heavy winter coat, gloves, and stocking cap
  if hunting during Nov-Mar.
• Comfortable hunting boots and warm socks.
  You will do plenty of walking.
• * Protective eyewear
• * Blaze orange clothing 
• * Hunting vest or shell belt

• A hard side, locking gun case. 12 or 20-gauge shotgun is recommended.
• You can shoot steel or lead shot in our fields. 
• You can bring your own ammo or purchase shells at Shotgun Willy’s.

We are fully licensed at our Wisconsin pheasant hunting preserve, so there is no man charge, gun charge/day, no bag limit on birds, and no license required.
